Try and hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, the scarlet speedster has arrived and he looks fantastic. The CW recently released a clip, a promo AND an extended five-minute trailer featuring The Flash, which will be hitting the screens come Autumn.
The Flash recently appreared in Arrow, or rather, his alter-ego Barry Allen did, and whilst the CW’s intentions were to introduce him via a backdoor-pilot, it managed to wrangle a series order at the very least. This, alongside the recent first images of Ben Affleck’s Batman and Batmobile, the iZombie series order and the insane series finale of Arrow means its been a good week for DC fans everywhere. The Flash is played by Grant Gustin and in all honesty, I was a little doubtful, but after seeing these videos, he has my vote.
As a friendly reminder, the extended trailer contains quite a significant amount of detail to the point where some might describe it as spoilery. If you want to be astounded by the show and avoid spoilers, just watch the other two videos below.
No UK broadcaster for The Flash has yet been set, but our readers in the U.S will be able to watch it on The CW on Tuesdays at 8, preceding Supernatural.
