Up until now, any promotion for the adaptation of THE FAULT IN OUR STARS has placed the focus squarely on the two stars, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, who play Hazel and Gus. The teenage couple meet at a cancer support group and love blossoms in spite of how very sick Hazel is. For those who have read the book, however, there is another character who is incredibly important in this story: Gus’s best friend Isaac.
It’s great to finally see some images of Isaac (Nat Wolff), the boy who drags his friend Gus along to a meeting where he then meets Hazel. The three become very close friends and Hazel is soon there to support Isaac as he undergoes further surgery. He is practically as central to the story as the lovebirds themselves.

Based on the book by John Green and directed by Josh Boone, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS also stars Willem Dafoe, Sam Trammell and Laura Dern, and will arrive in UK cinemas on 19th June.
