Emilia Clarke and Nicholas Hoult, stars of Game of Thrones and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST respectively, will unite to play criminal sweethearts Bonnie and Clyde in a new film version of the couple’s tale.
Bonnie and Clyde are two of Americas most famous outlaws, the two went on a crime spree during the early 1930’s before being gunned down in their infamous getaway car. The characters of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow have been brought to both big and little screen several times over with the most recent television version starring Holliday Grainger and Emile Hirsch as the dynamic pair.
Now just months after the television adaptation comes the news of a new film version of the story, this time based on the non-fiction book Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde. To distance itself from the iconic BONNIE AND CLYDE which starred Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty the film will be known as GO DOWN TOGETHER.
