Feel-Good New UK Poster For Jon Favreau’s ‘Chef’

Aside from the friendly, food-loving looking US poster and that entertaining trailer, we’ve only heard great things for Favreau’s CHEF and we’re all looking forward to seeing it finally in the UK on June 25th.

It’s written, directed, produced and starring Jon Favreau himself, alongside a bloody lovely cast that includes Sofia Vergara, Scarlett Johansson, John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, Dustin Hoffman, Oliver Platt, Robert Downey Jr. and young actor Emjay Anthony. Here’s some official synopsis for you folks who haven’t heard much about it yet:

When Chef Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) suddenly quits his job at a prominent Los Angeles restaurant after refusing to compromise his creative integrity for its controlling owner (Dustin Hoffman), he is left to figure out what’s next. Finding himself in Miami, he teams up with his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara), his friend (John Leguizamo) and his son (Emjay Anthony) to launch a food truck. Taking to the road, Chef Carl goes back to his roots to reignite his passion for the kitchen — and zest for life and love.

For those UK viewers, this isn’t a remake of the (very good) Lenny Henry BBC series from nineties but if he makes an appearance, that would be superb. Here’s the poster that’s little bit too ‘easy-going road trip’ style but selling all its good points:
