The Marvel/ ABC show Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has played to mixed reviews on the network over the past six months, and is only just starting to find its feet, and now it looks like it will have to step its game up a little more as rival DC hit FOX later this year with the Batman prequel series Gotham, revolving around the early days of the tortured city and its famous inhabitants, which include The Penguin, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and of course, The Dark Knight himself.
Overnight, FOX have released this fantastic extended trailer from the show, which is due on our channels in the Autumn. Judging by the promo, it looks like they have decided to go with a moody, and indeed more violent tone, much like some of the comic books themselves.
The show will star Ben McKenzie, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richards, Donal Logue, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Mazouz and Camren Bicondova.
