We’re just over two weeks out from the release of the perhaps the biggest film of the summer, the Gareth Edwards directed GODZILLA, which arrives on our shores on the 16th May. Not many details have been released from Warner Brothers as yet in regards to plot, other than the official blurb below, but we know it’ll be big, loud and packing out cinemas across the country (hopefully).
In Summer 2014, the world’s most revered monster is reborn as Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures unleash the epic action adventure “Godzilla.” From visionary new director Gareth Edwards (“Monsters”) comes a powerful story of human courage and reconciliation in the face of titanic forces of nature, when the awe-inspiring Godzilla rises to restore balance as humanity stands defenseless.
Today, the WB released over 20 new images from the film, which you can check out below. We’ll be bringing you a review as soon as the studio let us see it, so keep it THN leading up to release. In the meantime, why not check out our Luke’s epic Godzilla countdown featuring every one of the Godzilla movies ever made.

This is actually one of the few films I really look forward to seeing this Summer. I’m really hoping that after the mess we had last Summer (Pacific Rim), we can FINALLY have a good monster/apocalyptic movie that is worth watching for more that just decent CGI. If any monster film deserves this, it’s Godzilla.

I agree. Pacific Rim was a mess. Monsters fighting in the night. In the rain. Oh well. Who wants to see giant monsters in a giant monster movie? Sheesh!
Heads up: Spidey 2 stinks.

Yea I found a bootlegged version of Spidey 2 online and gave up watching after an hour. The movie seemed like nothing but an excuse to make a Sinister 6 film. It felt incomplete.
