Seth Rogen (BAD NEIGHBORS) and Kevin Hart (RIDE ALONG) have reportedly signed on to star in comedy director Nicholas Stoller’s next project.
Stoller, the man behind FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL (2008), GET HIM TO THE GREEK (2010), THE FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT (2012) and now BAD NEIGHBORS (2014), has already laid out the plan for his next film, with both Rogen and Hart in mind:
“The next thing I want to direct is this thing for Seth and Kevin Hart. It’s basically about the first white cop, black cop pairing in history. That takes place in the late 40s and they have to bust jazz musicians for weed. It’s kind of a Baz Luhrmann world mixed with Tarantino shit. It’s a lot of things.”
Rogen seems to be on quite a humour high at the moment, especially after the success of ensemble comedy THIS IS THE END. Hart, meanwhile, has recently starred in cop comedy RIDE ALONG (with a sequel planned), which didn’t go down so well. Hopefully Stoller’s project will be more like the former than the latter.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
