Lee Jeong Beom, director of the brilliant CRUEL WINTER BLUES and THE MAN FROM NOWHERE, has his third film on the horizon in the shape of the action filled NO TEARS FOR THE DEAD. His latest thriller sees a hitman fall in love with his next target, resulting in taking action against his employers. If his previous output is anything to go by, we can expect plenty of excruciating tension, but with a lot of heart also thrown in.
Jang Dong Gun stars in the lead role, having previously starred in recent classics such as FRIEND and TAEGUKGI. Also in the cast is Brian Tee, who will be making his Korean language debut after roles in THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT and THE WOLVERINE. Fingers crossed that Lee Jeong Beom gives us another memorable film despite an often used plot.
