Two new images have arrived from the near-future action film EDGE OF TOMORROW which starts Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt as soldiers attempting to save Earth from an alien takeover. The two intense new images certainly offer the wartime action this film is set to bring audiences, with Cruise and Blunt heavily armed and ready for battle.
An alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault and no military unit in the world seems capable of overcoming them – that is, until Major William Cage (Cruise) finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop, reliving the day of his death over and over. As Cage uses this opportunity to improve his fighting skills, thanks to Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt), he finds himself getting closer and closer to figuring out just how these aliens can be defeated.
Based on the novel All You Need is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, EDGE OF TOMORROW is the first motion picture to be shot at the Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
Also starring Bill Paxton and Charlotte Riley, it is slated for release on 30th May 2014 in cinemas and IMAX.
