After a debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, and a slot booked at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, Paul Haggis’ latest venture THIRD PERSON now has an international trailer.
Set in Paris, Rome and New York, THIRD PERSON follows three different love stories, all connected with each other in some way. Michael (Liam Neeson), Sean (Adrien Brody) and Rick (James Franco), the three main male characters, are leading very different lives, each with their own problems. However as each story unravels, secrets are unveiled and relationships come under scrutiny, testifying to the complications of life.
The trailer doesn’t give too much away about each character’s story, however it does leave us wondering how the plot will link the individuals together. A release date for the US hasn’t yet been confirmed, however it will be released this month in Italy and Belgium, and Japan later this year. THIRD PERSON has a pretty well known cast; alongside Neeson, Brody and Franco, Mila Kunis and Olivia Wilde also have major roles in the film.
Although, for me, the trailer here is over-emotional and exaggerated, the potential is there, with such great actors involved, we can only hope that the film shows as much promise as it’s cast, check it out for yourselves:
