She’s currently known for Effie Trinket in THE HUNGER GAMES but I always remember Elizabeth Banks for her small, brilliant, role in THE 40-YEAR OLD VIRGIN and an awesome turn as Avery Jessup in 30 Rock. Today we celebrate the funny lady in this first one sheet poster, alongside that great trailer, for WALK OF SHAME in which she co-stars with James Marsden.
Banks plays Meghan Miles, a reporter who dreams of becoming a news anchor. However, her life is somewhat compromised after a one-night stand leaves her stranded in downtown L.A. without a phone, car, ID or money – and, so we’re told, has only 8 hours to make it to the job important for that big-time position. Banks is already a proven comedy actress, so we’re looking forward to seeing her (and no doubt various people) trying to find her way through the day for this film written and directed by LITTLE NICKY’S Steven Brill.
You can remind yourself of that entertaining first trailer, and then check out the poster for the film that opens in the US on May 2nd:
