The first trailer for I ORIGINS has arrived! This spectacular trailer debuts Mike Cahill’s latest efforts and doesn’t disappoint. The film is set to confront issues of faith and science alongside an incredible cast that includes Michael Pitt, Brit Marling and Astrid Bergès-Frisbey.
Written, produced and directed by Cahill, I ORIGINS centres on PhD student, Ian Gray (Michael Pitt), who specialises in the evolution of the human eye. Ian is captivated by the eyes of a masked woman who soon eludes him. Determined to find her, armed with only a photo he is able to track her down and they soon fall in love. Years later, Ian and his lab partner make a startling discovery forcing Ian on a journey across the world uncovering many greater truths about mankind.
It’s compelling stuff, check out the trailer and scroll down for the poster::
I ORIGINS will be released in limited theatres on July 18th.
