Edgar Wright’s upcoming big screen rendition of Marvel’s ANT-MAN now has a baddie in the shape of Matt Gerald.
The movie follows Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, a biochemist who discovers a formula that allows Scott Lang AKA Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) to alter his size and communicate with bugs.
We’re not quite sure who Gerald will play yet, but we know it’s a baddie. Gerald’s work includes AVATAR, ESCAPE PLAN and TV show Dexter as well as Marvel One-Shot, ALL HAIL THE KING. He’ll soon be in movies theatres with Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell in SOLACE.
ANT-MAN is slated for a 2015 release and also stars Michael Peña, Evangeline Lilly,Patrick Wilson, and Corey Stoll. The screenplay comes from director Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish.

Claire Joanne Huxham comes from the south-west, where the cider flows free and the air smells of manure. She teaches A-level English by day and fights crime by night. When not doing either of these things she can usually be found polishing her Star Trek DVD boxsets. And when she can actually be bothered she writes fiction and poetry that pops up on the web and in print. Her favourite film in the whole world, ever, is BLADE RUNNER.
