Daniel Craig has allegedly quit new film, THE WHOLE TRUTH, which was due to start shooting next week. Production is at a halt and film-makers are searching to find a suitable replacement for their leading man, who will join co-star Renee Zellweger.
Craig’s sudden departure has caused chaos and confusion as it is unknown why the actor has chosen to quit just days before filming was due to begin. Production has been pushed back three weeks to look for a suitable replacement to play the district attorney role. Renee Zellweger and Gabriel Basso are still set to fulfil their roles.
The new courtroom drama is set to be directed by Courtney Hunt, this will be the Oscar nominees second feature film. Hunt was awarded the nomination for best original screenplay for her first film, FROZEN RIVER.
Craig had signed up to THE WHOLE TRUTH in January and was to film over the next few months before returning to his 007 role in BOND 24, which begins filming in October.
