WORDS AND PICTURES is a romantic comedy in which the battle between English and Art is personified in the guises of Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche respectively. Each battles for their students’ attention in class while also trying to focus on their own professional work as a writer and artist. However, as you can imagine, the two soon develop a connection between one another which blossoms into a romance, but with Owen’s job on the line will they be able to survive?
If it sounds like I’ve given away too much, that’s because it’s what the trailer shows. common pitfall for a romantic comedy, but WORDS AND PICTURES does seem to have some genuine charm and decent chemistry going on. From director Fred Schepisi (ROXANNE) we’re hoping for a lot of heart and a lot of laughs.
Have a look at the trailer below:
WORDS AND PICTURES should be released sometime this year. It stars Clive Owen, Juliette Binoche, Amy Brenneman, Bruce Davison, Keegan Connor Tracy, and Adam DiMarco.
