‘Everest’ To Be Scaled By Sam Worthington & Robin Wright

Sam Worthington The RidersEVEREST, the tale of an expedition up the world’s highest mountain going horribly wrong, has added two more cast members. AVATAR’s Sam Worthington and THE PRINCESS BRIDE herself, Robin Wright, will both take on roles in the film that is currently shooting in Nepal on the base of Everest. Other shooting locales include the Italian Dolomites, Cinecitta Studios in Rome and our very own Pinewood Studios. The film will follow a group on an expedition when they are suddenly hit by a snowstorm. Worthington will play Guy Cotton, while Wright takes on the role of Josh Brolin’s character Beck Weathers’ wife, Peach Weathers.

The cast is pretty solid, and with 2 GUNS and 101 REYKJAVIK director Baltasar Kormakur behind the camera, we can assume it’s going to be a tense and thrilling affair.
