This gorgeous new trailer just hit the web for EDGE OF TOMORROW, Doug Liman’s newest film that stars Emily Blunt and Tom Cruise as, well… Time warriors that relive the same day over, (via dying) in an attempt to heighten their combat skills and defeat hostile alien forces during an otherwise unwinnable war.
Based off of Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s 2004 novel All You Need Is Kill, the intense SOURCE CODE, DISTRICT 9, and MATRIX-looking mashup has garnered some much-deserved interest and is anticipated to be one of the biggest blockbusters for the summer of ’14. If you’re not sold on the premise yet, there are mechs in it too? So it’s got that going for it. If you’d like to find out more about the film, check out the facebook/twitter pages, or #LiveDieRepeat
Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures’ EDGE OF TOMORROW opens May 30th in the UK.
