Corey Stoll Joins Edgar Wright’s ‘Ant-Man’

Netflix's "House Of Cards" For Your Consideration Q&A Event

The great cast of ANT-MAN keeps on growing and today they have the addition of Corey Stoll, star of House Of Cards, THE BOURNE LEGACY, NON-STOP, MIDNIGHT IN PARIS and a whole lot more. Although he’s currently ‘in talks’ it does seem set that he’ll join Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd and the other list of hopefuls that include Patrick Wilson, Michael Pena and Evangeline Lilly.

What’s interesting about the cast here is that many of them straddle that good/bad divide, so it seems Wright is looking to cast people who could be working for either side of the metaphorical angelic or evil that we’ll surely encounter.

The Brit director has co-written the film with Joe Cornish, the man who gave us the underrated ATTACK THE BLOCK and the pair also worked together on THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN. for those who don’t know, ANT-MAN is about a biochemist called Dr. Hank Pym who discovers that he can alter his size by tweaking a group of subatomic particles. After a first test, things don’t go so well but he then makes an instrument that helps him to communicate with and control insects.

ANT-MAN is currently set for release on July 17th on both sides of the pond.
