Arnold Schwarzenegger has been talking up his next film to shoot, the fifth movie in the Terminator franchise, TERMINATOR: GENESIS, whilst on the promotional tour for SABOTAGE, which opens in north America this Friday.
“‘Terminator’ deals a lot with time travel,” he said to MTV, “so there will be a younger T-800, and then [there is] what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets ahold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie.”
So, how will Arnie play the character now that he’s thirty years older? Surely The Terminator doesn’t age? Apparently so…
“The way that the character is written, it’s a machine underneath,” he added. “It’s this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator’s flesh ages, just like any other human being’s flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages.”
Alan Taylor (THOR: THE DARK WORLD) will direct the new instalment. Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney and J.K. Simmons have all be confirmed to star alongside the big man.
It will open in cinemas across the world on 1st July, 2015.

A prequel? . . . My God, man, let it go. Please, for all of us just let it go and let it be what it was. Why, Arnold . . . why . . . ?

$$$$… that’s why. But, sadly… I’m kind of looking forward to it… like driving by an accident on the side of the road – I just want to look and see the carnage.

It should not be time travel, we all want to see the Future human army fighting those giant robots in the night with the laser bolts, finish the war and end the series allready.
