New ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ Stills Arrive

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON was somewhat of a surprise success when it hit cinemas in 2010. The film also boasted an impressive vocal cast which included Gerard Butler, Jay Baruchel, Kristen Wiig, and Jonah Hill. The story followed odd-boy-out Hiccup as he struggled to fit in with his Viking tribe. This was made even harder after he developed a deep bond with dragon Toothless, as dragons were seen as the enemy. The film was a lovely heart-warming tale about friendship, and believing in yourself and making a stand for who you are and what you believe in.

Thanks to the success the film has been granted a sequel which arrives in theatres from June, seeing all the vocal cast of the first film return, with the addition of Oscar winner Cate Blanchett. This time round Vikings and dragons are comrades, with Hiccup, toothless and the gang investigating a mysterious ice cave filled with wild dragons and an enigmatic dragon rider.

The official film website has released some fresh stills which we can share with you. I think you’ll all agree that Toothless has to be the cutest dragon ever:
