Kristen Bell would love to get involved with the stage adaptation of FROZEN, it seems, and with a vocal cast so experienced in stage and musical work it would seem a shame not to at least try and get them on board. When asked about the possibility of being asked to return to the character, Bell said:
‘I certainly hope they try… Everybody in FROZEN is a Broadway veteran so I certainly hope they try and wrangle us.’
Following a live musical performance of songs from the Oscar-winning film – in which Bell sang not just her parts but those of the younger actresses playing her character, Anna – it’s not all that surprising that the VERONICA MARS (Check out our review of that film here!) actress looks ready to begin a career on Broadway.
The stage adaptation for FROZEN is still in early development stages but it’s exciting to imagine a show with many of the film’s impressive cast, which also included Jonathan Groff (Glee) and star of stage and screen Idina Menzel, reunited to perform the hits including Let it Go and Do You Want to Build a Snowman. Though perhaps Menzel and Bell wouldn’t look like the most obvious sisters on stage.
