THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO actress Rooney Mara is set to play tribal Princess Tiger Lilly in PAN. The film’s cast is shaping-up nicely with Hugh Jackman and Garrett Hedlund already confirmed. Jackman is to play tyrannical Blackbeard, with Hedlund onboard to play a not-yet-bad Hook.
The titular role of Peter Pan is yet to be cast, with open auditions having been held earlier in the year. The story will follow Pan as he is kidnapped by pirates and taken to Neverland. It joins the long line of fairy-tale movies due out over the next year or so, which also includes CINDERELLA, MALEFICENT, and THE JUNGLE BOOK.
PAN will be directed by Joe Wright and is set for a July 2015 release.
