Ever wondered if you could have your heart broken in a minute or less? No worries, the new teaser trailer for HBO’s The Normal Heart will prove that fittingly.
The Normal Heart, based on the 1985 play of the same name by Larry Kramer, follows the rise of HIV-AIDs in the 1980s through the eyes of activist Ned Weeks (Mark Ruffalo). The film also stars White Collar’s Matt Bomer, The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons, Julia Roberts, Jonathan Groff, Taylor Kitsch and Alfred Molina.
The film also sees director Ryan Murphy’s return to film (because we all remember how amazing EAT, PRAY, LOVE was eh?) Kramer also adapted the screenplay. It is expected to air May 25th on HBO, but if you can’t wait that long, check out the trailer below:
