“When you do a live concert, hopefully that is the time when the songs will come back to life” says Pulp’s lead singer Jarvis Cocker in Florian Habicht’s new documentary about the band’s final show in their hometown of Sheffield.
PULP is the new documentary that follows the preparation, concert and feelings of the band as they get ready to perform their last gig at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Area on December 8, 2012. Combining the concert with commentary from the band members, PULP takes us behind the scenes, giving viewers an insightful look into the heart of not only the band but also the city of the Steel City; Sheffield.

PULP had its world premiere yesterday at SXSW, other dates are yet to be confirmed.
