There is a new FANTASTIC FOUR cast in town. And according to director Matthew Vaughn, they are nothing like the last. Taking on the producer role in Fox’s reboot of FANTASTIC FOUR, the X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and KICK ASS director spoke about the new film in this superhero franchise:
“It’s a total reboot that’s for sure. It’s got nothing to do with the other bloody ones. It’s not a strechy guy and a guy running around in rock that looks like it’s made of polystyrene. And it’s not a comedy.”
If anything, it seems that Mr Vaughn’s views on the previous two FANTASTIC FOUR films, starring Jessica Alba and Chris Evans, are pretty clear. And so are his aspirations for the new reboot. Let’s hope his dreams can become a reality. With a cast including Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell, the FANTASTIC FOUR reboot will be hitting the screens in June 2015.
