Fans of dark, satrical literature, and dark, twisted, horror movies should start jumping up and down as it has been announced that writer Bret Easton Ellis, and rock-God director Rob Zombie will team-up for a new TV show.
The duo will be working together with Alcon Television as they develop a television series around the infamous Manson Family. The show is being developed as a mini-series for Fox, with Ellis writing and Zombie directing. Zombie has been fascinated by the real-life murder-spree clan and given his previous film THE DEVIL’S REJECTS, which in itself was very Manson Family-esque, viewers can expect a violent and bloody portrayal.
I have been obsessed with this insane story since I was a kid, so obviously I jumped at the chance to be involved in this incredible project. After speaking with Bret, I immediately realized that we shared the same vision for this epic madness.
The announcement comes at the very early stages of development and no set broadcast date or cast have been established, but fert not we at THN will keep you updated.
