‘Fast & Furious 7’ To Resume Filming In April

fast and furiousFAST & FURIOUS 7 shut down production in November after the tragic death of Paul Walker, one of the franchises mainstays. The cast and crew are now gearing up to return to work either on or very near to 1st April. The film itself is now due for a 15th April 2015 release, giving plenty of time for post-production, which sounds necessary in order to retain and successfully edit the footage completed by Walker. FIlimng is set totake place over a course of 6-8 weeks in Atlanta, where filming left-off in November.

It is believed that Walker’s character will be retired rather than killed off, and the script has been tweaked to accommodate existing footage. It has also been rumoured, though not confirmed, that Paul Walker’s brother Cody, who has worked as a stunt performer, will help in finishing off some shots for the film.

Hopefully the death of one of its major stars will be handled with dignity and respect, and we can’t imagine that it won’t be due to the close nature of the cast and crew. Whether or not teh franchise will continue after part 7 is a completely different issue. Let’s see what they can come up with.

FAST AND FURIOUS 7 is released on 15th April. It stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Jordana Brewster, Lucas Black, Michael Jai White,Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Tony Jaa.
