I personally loved the break-out zombie comedy ZOMBIELAND a few years back but director Ruben Fleischer’s follow-up movies 30 MINUTES OR LESS and GANGSTER SQUAD… not so much. Still, the talented helmer has been missed in the year since the release of that aforementioned movie, but it looks like he may have his eyes on his next flick as The Hollywood Reporter reports that he’s in talks to direct a film called OVERNIGHT over at Disney.
Neal Moritz is producing the film, which is described by the trade as a family drama, a bit like HOME ALONE in an FAO Schwarz-esque toy store. I’m sold.
Oren Uziel (22 JUMP STREET) wrote the script.
