‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Trailer Teaser

“Who areyou?” is the only line growled in this 20 second trailer, and it’s the perfect set-up for Marvel’s least known group of superheros making their way to the big screen. It was a big surprise when GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY was announced as an upcoming Marvel movie, and an even bigger surprise when indie director James Gunn, known for his incredible but also very mad and very dark SLITHER and superhero deconstruction SUPER, was put in charge. The cast includes a WWE wrestler, a veteran of 2 other gigantic sci-fi franchises, an actor best known for his role on a comedy show and as the voice of a Lego man, Vin Diesel as a character who can only say “I Am Groot,” and Bradley Cooper as a talking raccoon. This isn’t your normal Marvel movie.

The first 20 seconds of footage has me more excited than any other property currently in dveleopment by Marvel, and that includes AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Being very disappointed by THOR: THE DARK WORLD, means I’m on a Marvel downer at the moment, but this has restored my faith. Check it out below!

The full trailer will debut in the US during Jimmy Kimmel on February 18th (That’s today!) at 11:35 pm EST. Will bring it to you as soon as possible after that!

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is set to hit cinemas from 1st August 2014 and stars Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Benicio del Toro, Karen Gillan, Ophelia Lovibond, Lee Pace, Djimon Honsou, Glenn Close, Peter Serafinowicz and John C. Reilly.
