Donal Logue, who we’ll know from the television show Sons Of Anarchy, and films like SHARK NIGHT 3D and THE REEF 2: HIGH TIDE, has been cast as GCPD detective Harvey Bullock in the planned Warner Brothers/ Fox collaboration Gotham.
The character is described as “Jim Gordon’s partner and mentor, the rough-around-the-edges Detective Harvey Bullock [who] plays loose with police procedure, but he gets results … and he does it with old-school, forceful panache.”
Ben McKenzie will play James Gordon in the show, which revolves around the origins of the famous Gotham detective, while Sean Pertwee will play Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth, while Robin Lord Taylor will play Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin. Gotham also stars Zabryna Guevara as Captain Essen, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean.
Danny Cannon, the man behind THE YOUNG AMERICANS and the first JUDGE DREDD movie outing is directing the pilot, from a screenplay by Bruno Heller.
Expect this puppy on your TV screens later in the year.
