Pertwee is a veteran of the screen, having appeared in Neil Marshall’s DOG SOLDIERS, EVENT HORIZON, and most recently, ALAN PARTRIDGE: ALPHA PAPA. He is also the son of Jon Pertwee, the late Doctor Who actgor. Alfred is described as ‘a tough-as-nails ex-marine from East London, who has loyally served the Waynes. Now, in the wake of their tragic deaths, he’s fiercely protective of the young Bruce Wayne.’

Fox have also released a character description for Taylor’s character of Cobblepot:

With the brains of a chess grandmaster and the morals of a jackal, Oswald Cobblepot is a low-level psychopath (for gangster Fish Mooney) who hides his sadistic lust for power behind an exquisitely polite demeanor.

Additionally, Zabryna Guevara (Burn Notice) has been cast as Gordon’s boss at the Gotham City Police Department, Captain Essen, and Erin Richards (Being Human, “Merlin) will play Gordon’s fiancee, Barbara Kean?.

Brit Danny Cannon wil helm the pilot from a screenplay by Bruno Heller (Rome).
