It’s nearly arrival time for THE LEGO MOVIE in the US, with us UKians havings to wait an extra week. No biggie, we get ROBOCOP first. Fans of the Danish building block sensation, which constantly tops the Top Toys lists, will be very happy to view this interesting making of featurette. Surprisingly, they didn’t just use the actual toys, but used something called CG (Spelling ?). The featurette really looks at how the team were able to bring so much life into such limited little characters, and it’s great to see Liam Neeson fulfill his Life’s Too Short promise of going into comedy.
I’m yet to see anything about this film that I dislike, and with news of a sequel on the way with the writer announced just yesterday, it looks as though Lego movies are here to stay. Everything is truly awesome.
THE LEGO MOVIE will be released on 7th February 2014 in the US and the 14th February in the UK. It stars the vocal talent of Chris Pratt, Channing Tatum, Cobie Smulders, Jonah Hill, Liam Neeson, Charlie Day, Morgan Freeman, Elizabeth Banks, Alison Brie, Will Ferrell, Nick Offerman, and Will Arnett.
