Family-Friendly Trailer Released For ‘A Million Ways To Die In The West’

Well, by ‘family-friendly’ we mean slightly less red-band than the original trailer.

A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST, written and directed by Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy), sees him play cowardly farmer Albert, who falls in love with a mysterious new woman (Charlize Theron) who appears in town. However, when her gun-toting husband (Liam Neeson) arrives to win her back, Albert must challenge him to a duel to prove how manly he really is.

Co-starring Neil Patrick Harris, Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Silverman and Giovanni Ribisi, A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST is the follow-up to MacFarlane’s super successful comedy TED. The trailer does produce some solid laughs and makes me want to see more, which is a plus considering I didn’t find TED as hilarious as others did. Watch it below, then take a look at the red-band trailer and see if you can spot the minuscule (but bloody) differences.

A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST arrives in US cinemas from 30th May 2014, with the UK following afterwards on 6th June.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
