Coming from the director of the unforgettable crime thriller ANIMAL KINGDOM, David Michod, tense thriller THE ROVER sees the filmmaker reunite with Guy Pearce for a brutal revenge caper set in the Australian Outback.
During a dangerous and damaged near future and with the globe devastated by an economic collapse, desperate and on-the-edge Eric (Pearce) finds himself on the mission to track down a gang who have stolen the only meaningful possession he has left during a robbery – his prized Rover automobile. Eric captures the injured Reynolds (TWILIGHT heartthrob Robert Pattinson) and forces him to help track down the remaining members of his gang and assure he retrieves his beloved vehicle at any cost!
