Fan boys and girls, rejoice! The first trailer for the adaptation of John Green’s bestselling novel THE FAULT IN OUR STARS has arrived, sending social media networks wild!
Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort star as Hazel and Gus, two teenagers who meet – and fall in love – at a cancer support group. As their relationship sees its ups and downs, there’s no denying that the pair are made for each other…but is life that kind?
Co-starring Laura Dern, Willem Dafoe, Nat Wolff, Sam Trammell, Emily Peachey and Mike Birbiglia, this is not to be missed. Within minutes of the trailer’s release, the hashtag #tfiostrailer was (and still is) trending worldwide, proving that when it comes to book adaptations, there’s no force stronger than a YA fandom (myself included). It took me a week to finish reading the book last January, and if I hadn’t of been at work (oops!) I would’ve cried my eyes out.
THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, directed by Josh Boone, will arrive in US cinemas from the 6th June, with the UK following two weeks later on the 20th June.
