RIO 2 hits cinemas this April, and even though it has the built in marketing device that is The World Cup taking place in Rio this year, a few colourful character posters aren’t going to hurt. I’m not a huge fan of the first film, but I did enjoy the bright visuals on display. And who could forget the wonderfully addictive ‘Angry Birds’ tie-in game which these posters promise new levels for? I’m probably more excited for that than the actual film, but I’m more than willing to give it a chance.
The film is set for release 4th April in the UK and 14th April in the US. It stars Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, Rodrigo Santoro, Kristin Chenoweth, Bruno Mars, Natalie Morales, Janelle Monae, Andy Garcia, and will.i.am.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
