Wolf Of Wall Street’s Margot Robbie For Jane In ‘Tarzan’ Reboot?

I’d only seen Margot Robbie as coy co-star in Richard Curtis’ ABOUT TIME before she really hit the big time with her role as Leo’s wife Naomi Lapaglia in Scorsese’s THE WOLF OF WALL STREET. Now, with that success, she’s hot property and on the market to be linked up with a whole host of major roles possibly coming her way.

It’s been reported that she’s in talks to join David Yates TARZAN and as the rather important Jane. Yates is the man behind the huge success of the HARRY POTTER franchise so let’s hope they get this production right, even in these early days they’d have to do something very special to grab the right crowd. They’re picking up the big names though with Alexander Skarsgard, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson also rumoured to have signed up for the big-budget reboot.

That’s not all either, as Margot is also said to be taking over from Amanda Seyfried in Craig Zobel’s Z FOR ZACHARIAH, which would film before TARZAN. Zobel’s film is a thriller based on the book by Robert O’Brien. It’s a post-apocalyptic thriller that they’re also hoping Chris Pine and 12 YEARS A SLAVE’s Chiwetel Ejiofor will be a part of.

Next up for the actress is SUITE FRANCAISE which means she’s going to be a very busy lady for the foreseeable future. For those who saw her at the Golden Globes as well, she seems that she’s switched on with all the quick success and so let’s hope she continues to get the good roles…which has proven successful so far!
