Nick Nolte A Late Cast Addition In Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’

Visionary writer/director Darren Aronofsky has recently confirmed via social media platform Twitter that Nick Nolte has joined the cast of his Biblical epic NOAH. His film has already completed filming so you’ll not be seeing the gruff Hollywood veteran on screen. He’ll be voicing a rock-like creation named The Watcher Samyaza. We’ve included the tweet below which gives a look at the mythic creature in the background. It also confirms the big-budget film will not be you’re standard religious blockbuster we’ve come to know from the likes of Cecil B. DeMille.

Aronofsky’s NOAH, which he co-wrote alongside Ari Handel and John Logan, stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth and Anthony Hopkins.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
