Comedic actress Rebel Wilson has signed on to star alongside Amanda Seyfried in Universal R-rated comedy HE’S F-ING PERFECT. She will play the friend who Amanda Seyfried convinces to dump her boyfriend so she can date him instead – sounds like a great friend to us! Wilson has had a busy year filming ABC’s TV game show Super Fun Night and doing voice-over work on KUNG FU PANDA 3. She’ll have to fit in filming HE’S F-KING PERFECT around shooting the sequel to PITCH PERFECT, which has been announced for a 2015 release date, and a recently-announced role in NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3.
Known for her work on adult comedy shorts including FIFTY SHADES OF BLUE, VACATION SEX and TOUCHING OURSELVES this is screenwriter Lauren Kahn’s first feature script and she’s joined by first time feature director Jake Szymanski and a solid production team of Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.
No further casting has been announced but we’re looking forward to finding out who will play the perfect man in question!
