Next month sees underrated writer/director Greg Mclean’s sequel to the bold, beautiful yet brutal 2005 serial killer thriller WOLF CREEK unleashed in its Aussie homeland. WOLF CREEK 2 will see the return of the seemingly-likeable bushwhacker Mick Taylor as he cruises the Australian outback for more sick and sadistic thrills as he targets helpless backpackers or anyone who crosses his path.
A second poster has surfaced featuring the cruel character (based on real-life murderers Ivan Milat and Bradley Murdoch), unforgettably portrayed by cult actor John Jarrett, as he readies for an attack. If you missed the first trailer, we’ve also included it below.
WOLF CREEK 2 co-stars Ryan Corr, Shannon Ashlyn, Chloé Boreham, Sarah Roberts and Philipe Klaus. It’s set for Australian cinemas 20th February 2014. No details on US or UK dates as yet.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
