The more footage I see from THE LEGO MOVIE the more I can’t wait to watch it when it debuts on the 14th February over here in the UK. Not only does it have the hilarious Chris Pratt (MOVIE 43, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY) in the lead role but it also features the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, it’s like a Lego Justice League!
THE LEGO MOVIE is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 JUMP STREET) and follows an ordinary Lego citizen named Emmet (Pratt) who is mistaken for a legendary hero destined to save the world. Emmet is united with a range of superheroes such as Superman (Channing Tatum), Batman (Will Arnett) and Wonder Woman (Cobie Smulders) to embark on an epic adventure to save the world from an evil tyrant named President Business (Will Ferrell). You can see the awesome first TV spot for the film below:
You can also see yet another brand new poster below that features ‘Spaceman Benny’ voiced by Charlie Day (HORRIBLE BOSSES, PACIFIC RIM).
Well one that is definitely certain is what i’m doing this Valentines Day after watching that hilarious television spot, THE LEGO MOVIE will be released in the UK on 14th February and you can check back with The Hollywood News for more updates on the film until then.
