First up, this isn’t a very unexpected THE X-FILES and JACK RYAN crossover but they’ve still gone with the classic ‘Trust No One’ tagline on this new, yet slightly reworked, poster for JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT.
Based on the books by Tom Clancy, this literary icon is getting the origin story that’s not been written by the author but instead comes from a screenplay by newcomer Adam Cozad and legendary screenwriter David Koepp, quite the education especially with Kenneth Branagh taking the directorial reigns.
JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT focuses on Jack Ryan, played by Chris Pine as the young covert CIA analyst, who uncovers a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy with a terrorist attack. The international trailer looked impressive and the film also stars Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley, Colm Feore, Nonso Anozie, David Paymer and Peter Andersson.
JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT opens in the US on the 17th January and the UK on 24th January. For more images from the movie click here!
