The idea of Will Arnett and Liam Neeson voicing the lead characters in an animated 3D comedy is enough to fill any fan of either/both actor(s) with joy. THE NUT JOB is directed by Peter Lepeniotis (based on his own animated short film SURLY SQUIRREL), and follows a mischievous squirrel and his rodent friend with a plan to steal a mountain of nuts. Go easy on ’em though, as it’s not for selfish reasons. They’re desperate to save themselves and the rest of their wildlife pals friends who also live in the same park.
THE NUT JOB is the first feature-length animated adventure from Toonbox Entertainment and here we have the first television spot and latest poster!
THE NUT JOB is released in the US on 17th January and co-stars Brendan Fraser, Jeff Dunham, Sarah Gadon, Stephen Lang, Gabriel Iglesias and Katherine Heigl. No UK date known as yet.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
