It’s hard to believe that we only have two days before we have to say goodbye to the beloved eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith in his final ever appearance on the BBC’s DOCTOR WHO. Of course, there will always be other anniversaries in the future where we can hope he makes a return as David Tennant did just last month for the 50th anniversary special. But none the less, it will still be an emotional farewell to one of the nations favourite Doctor’s before he regenerates into the next incarnation, played by Peter Capaldi.
Now we have one last tease before the big day in the form of a short clip courtesy of the wonderful BBC. You can see the hilarious clip from DOCTOR WHO: THE TIME OF THE DOCTOR below:
The clip seems to indicate that the festive special wont all be doom and gloom by balancing it out nicely with some comedic moments. After all, Matt Smith is exceptionally talented with comedy as well as drama. Now we just have the agonising wait until Christmas for not only presents, food and mince pies but also what will surely be one of the greatest DOCTOR WHO stories to ever grace our television screens.
