Zach Braff’s ‘Wish I Was Here’ To Debut At Sundance & New Stills Revealed

Straight from Mr Zach Braff himself, it’s been confirmed that his Kickstarter-backed movie WISH I WAS HERE will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014.

In some ways, it is the follow-up to the excellent GARDEN STATE and a screenplay he has been working on with his brother, Andy Braff, for some time now. When they got the idea of taking it to Kickstarter and ask for the fans to be a part of it all – it was another impressive success story. He had this to say a ‘thank you’ to all backers:

I didn’t get into Sundance, we got into Sundance. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to make my dream a reality.

The film focuses around Braff’s character Aidan Bloom, a struggling actor, father, and husband who is struggling to find purpose in life and come to terms with the death of his father. It also stars Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Ashley Greene, Joey King and Josh Gad and I’m very much looking forward to seeing what he’s done this time, there’s been some good initial feedback from what’s been filmed. We’ve also got these brand new stills below for you:
