Earlier in the week we brought you the terrific first trailer for the tense thriller GRAND PIANO, which sees Elijah Wood play a celebrated pianist named Tom Selznick with a target on his back (literally) from John Cusack’s psycho. Wood’s character is one of the most talented players of his generation, who had stopped performing in public due to stage fright following a catastrophic performance. However, his comeback gig soon may well be with the death of him as an assassin promises to shoot him on stage if he plays one wrong note!
We’ve two new posters from the acclaimed festival favourite directed by Eugenio Mira and set for US cinemas for 7th March 2014. No word on a UK release. Allen Leech, Don McManus, Dee Wallace, Alex Winter and Tamsin Egerton co-star.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
