Houston Film Critics Society Award Winners

Academy frontrunners 12 YEARS A SLAVE and GRAVITY once again do their thing, with Houston the latest region to lend their support. With the love shared rather evenly between the two, each film took home four awards, though it was Steve McQueen’s pic that received the big prize.

The other categories are pretty self-explanatory, though Sandra Bullock was the recipient of Best Actress and we see 20 FEET FROM STARDOM and THE HUNT pop up again. INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS’ Please Mr. Kennedy received yet another Best Original Song award, but remember that this one isn’t eligible for Oscar recognition.
