Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy just can’t stay away from each other. The two actors have appeared together in TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, and LAWLESS and that’s only over the last 2 years. Next year will see them reunite for CHILD 44. Set in Russia during the time of Stalin, the film sees Hardy and Oldman investigating a series of child murders. As you can imagine, there’s a greater conspiracy afoot. Based on the novel by Tom Rob Smith and directed by SAFE HOUSE’s Daniel Espinosa, it certainly sounds as though we’ll have a chilling thriller on our hands.
CHILD 44 is set to hit theatres in 2014. It stars Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Noomi Rapace, Jason Clarke, Joel Kinneman, Vincent Cassel, Paddy Considine, and Dev Patel.
