The hilarious reboot of cult television series 21 JUMP STREET gave us quite a surprise with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum both terrific in Phil Lord and Chris Miller‘s comedy. The sequel, titled 22 JUMP STREET finds undercover cop duo Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) infiltrating a college campus, and once again finding their twisted partnership and chemistry tested. Also returning from the first film is Ice Cube, Nick Offerman, Dave Franco and Rob Riggle.
After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

22 JUMP STREET co-stars Amber Stevens, Jillian Bell, Jimmy Tatro, Wyatt Russell and Craig Roberts. It hits UK cinemas from the 6th June and a week later in the US on 13th June 2014.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
