Quentin Tarantino, you may have heard of him, has been singing the praises of this Israeli revenge thriller for a little while now. It sees a renegade cop hunting down and torturing the man he believes is a serial child murderer. From the look of the film, this is something that could rival the very best in revenge thrillers and looks like a more disturbing take on PRISONERS. The film has been described as a brutal dark comedy, and although there are a few lines in the trailer that raise a smirk, I’m hoping they’ll be more in the final film. Topped off with a beautiful song playing over the bleak imagery, this is certainly one to look out for.
BIG BAD WOLVES was released in the UK on Friday and sees a limited US release on 17th January 2014. It stars Guy Adler, Lior Ashkenazi, Dvir Benedek, Gur Bentwich, Doval’e Glickman, and Tzahi Grad.

His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies.
